What is Workplace Giving?
Workplace giving is:
- a simple and effective way for you to support research projects into diabetes.
- a way to receive an upfront tax deduction from your salary
- an opportunity for you to make regular donations through payroll system
- a way to provide busy people with an easy way to support diabetes research
What are the benefits?
- Workplace Giving allows you to receive an upfront tax deduction from your salary/wages. The donation is made to the DRF from your pre-tax wages/salary and your employer sends this donation on to us.
- An annual receipt will be given to you at the end of the financial year.
- Your donations will be made automatically
- You will be helping the DRF fund research into finding a cure for diabetes and help reduce complications of diabetes.

How do I register for Workplace Giving?
Firstly, check if your workplace has an established Workplace Giving Program. If they haven’t you will need to obtain up-to-date information from the Australian Taxation Office so that your workplace complies with government rulings.
Once this is in place your workplace will take care of managing the Workplace Giving Program. Please notify us so that we can thank you personally.
If your workplace has an established Workplace Giving program, the process is easy!
Step 1: Check that the DRF is an included beneficiary and decide how much you would like to donate
Step 2: Obtain the Workplace Giving Payroll Deduction Advice from your employer and fill it in
Step 3: Give the completed form to your payroll department
Step 4: Send a copy of the form to us via email or to GPO Box X2213, PERTH WA 6847
